Sister NOTD: Lilac French

It seems like my passion for nails it's contageous!

In the past few months my sister Lara started to play with my polishes, she really enjoyed it and she even stopped from biting her nails!

Now her nails are long and she is proud of them!

She asked me to post some of her pics and so a new blog feature is born: Sister NOTD.

For this mani she used two essence colour&go polish. For the base she used 05 Sweet As Candy and for the french she used 27 No More Drama.

Secret's Shy Boy Nails

Secret is a four-member Korean girl group.

Their latest single is "Shy Boy" and in the mv the girls are wearing 50's inspired clothes.

These are a few nail art inspired by Secret's Shy Boy music video.

Katrina also made a wonderful Secret inspired nail art.

The first nail art is inspired by the girls clothes.

I tried different designs before this one but they were too complicated.

I think this one reflects well the simple clothes and the cheerful theme of the music video.

(on the ring finger I used a bright pink polish but in the pictures it turned out almost red!)

I applied a white base and then added a "ruffian" mani with four different cremes.

As a finishing touch I added two small dots to make the buttons.

This nail art is inspired by the nails Hyoseong in wearing in the video.

It was hard to capture Hyoseong's nails so I made what it seems the most similar nail art to me.

I applied a sheer base with gold shimmer and then I used three different gold polish to create a gradient. I really love the result and this is my favorite mani between all of these.

Jieun's nails are very simple.

She is wearing a very light blue and pink mani.

I didn't have a perfect dupe for her nail polish colors so I used a bit more brighter ones, but I totally prefer her soft version so I suggest you to use very soft shades if you have them.

I applied the light blue base and then made the stripes with the pink polish.

Sunhwa's nails are definitely the most easier ones.

She have three different colors on her nail: two shades of pink and a lilac color.

Super easy to replicate!

Zinger have really stylish nails in the music video.

Her nails are half painted with a purple polish that seems to have a foil finish.

I made a really similar nail art previously so I didn't made another one.

I'm not too fond of purple polish but I totally love this one.

Tutorial #038: Fleurs de Provence

This nails are inspired by a nail art that I saw in a magazine. {original}

Colors:

• Base Coat: KIKO White strong&shiny No.05
• Lilac: Deborah 7 Days Long No.827
• Blue: Deborah Sense TECH No.03
• Pink: KIKO No.283
• White: KIKO No.203
• Green: KIKO No.296
• Top Coat: KIKO No.03

How to:

1. Apply your base coat.
2. Apply a dark blue polish on your ring finger. Since I used a matte polish I applied top coat also. On the other nails apply a lilac polish.
3. Using a dotting tool draw pink and white flowers. Add a small green leaf. Let it dry PERFECTLY and add your top coat.

I had this color and a lighter version of it in my hands and I really didn't know which one buy so I let my sister choose. And her choise was right because I'm totally in love with this color.

This color is called "Dark Magenta" but for me is too on the pink side to be a magenta, it's more berry to me.

This polish is really a little jewel in my collection.

It was a gift I got from my mom for passing an exam and it came in a heart shaped box with a lipstick of the same color.

It took me a few months before actually wear it and was love at first sight and you know why...?! It has FLAKIES!!!!! It's my first time with flakies and I didn't even notice them in the bottle.

It's a very deep purple with a magenta reflex and small silver flakies! I can't say how much I love it!

The only small problem is that it isn't very shiny when dry but that's nothing that a top coat can't resolve!

I really hoped that the whole MIRROR GLOW collection was flakies polish but unfortunately I only saw another one with flakies, the others are all shimmer. I have another color from the MIRROR GLOW collection that I'm going to present you in a few minutes.

I like this color very much. Is a beautiful muted purple creme. A nice fall color.

This was one of the one I was expecting more. It's a beautiful lavender creme but I'm not too satisfied with how it looks on my nails.

This is China Glaze Agent Lavender with some glitter from basic and essie's Matte About You Top Coat.

I'm starting to love this brand very much. It's super cheap and has amazing colors. Unfortunately there aren't that much colors.

I usually don't like purple but I adore this one. I think I will buy another bottle if I find it.

The color isn't very opaque and it was a little difficult to apply but I still love this color very much!!
